Things left in books collection Paper dolls, Undated.

These paper dolls are of two varieties, illustrations carefully cut out to create a separate figure, and hand-made dolls made from available bits of paper. In the first category, we have two frogs, a rat, a floral bouquet, and four people. In the second category, we have three people, two figures on horseback, a horse, and a sun. The horse is made of glossy embossed black paper. Two of the people have separately made clothing. A cut-out illustration of a gentleman has a note on the back: Found in N.T. of the Pictorial Bible NY 1847.
